Mr. Ed's Farm offers engaging, educational field trips designed to complement classroom learning with real-world experiences. Drawing on Ed's background in educational programming, our tours are tailored to different age groups and learning objectives. Students don't just observe - they participate in authentic farm activities, developing connections with animals and understanding where food comes from. Our programs align with science and agriculture curriculum standards while fostering environmental awareness, responsibility, and respect for living things.

What's Included

Animal Science & Care

Learn about different farm animals, their characteristics, needs, and behaviors. Students observe and interact with goats, sheep, horses, chickens, and more.

Hands-On Animal Interaction

Students feed animals, collect eggs, and learn proper handling techniques. These tactile experiences create lasting memories and deeper understanding.

Life Cycles & Reproduction

Explore animal life cycles, reproduction, and growth. Spring visits may include seeing baby animals!

Guided Farm Tour

Horse-Drawn Wagon Ride

Experience traditional farm transportation with a scenic wagon ride pulled by draft horses.

Please book school visits at least 3-4 weeks in advance. We'll work with you to customize the program for your grade level and learning objectives.

Cancellation Policy: Weather-dependent. We'll work with you to reschedule if needed. No deposit required. Payment (check preferred) due on arrival or can be invoiced to the school.
